The Easter Long Weekend! - ''Pasqua''
The Easter long weekend was so nice and relaxing.
San Bartolomeo al Mare
On Friday night we headed down south to another region in Italy 'Liguria' which is on the sea. It was lovely and relaxing and oh so sunny (nearly go burnt!)
Alassio

On Saturday we spent walking along the beach then went to Alessio for dinner and ate a lovely seafood dinner although it had turned cold in the evening. On sunday it was not so sunny :( so I spent the morning studying for the 2 tests that I had the next week then we headed back to Turin, we were thinging to have a quiet night relaxing and watching a movie insted our friends had organised to go for Japanese and the for drinks after with other friends so it was not quiet at all!
Monday is 'Pasquetta', it literally translates into 'the little Easter' but it just means the Monday that you gett off, we had a BBQ at one of our friends country houses. (it like living in NY everyone has to have a 'house in the country' or a 'house at the sea' or you are always in the city breathing polluted air, it a very different way of living. ) We had a kareoke session as 2 of the guys play guitar and played basketball and soccer needless to say which one I was better at!

Oui Oui!, c'est Pari!!
Paris was just lovely we had the most perfect weather. On Saturday we walked 13kms!! Just about worked off all the yummy bakery sweets and nutella crepes and french champaigne!
We saw lots of things: Notre Dame, Lourve (the outside, I've visited it before), Sacre Coeur, Monpanasse (where we had the hotel) and the area where there are all the artists, Moulin Rouge, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, and even the mother ship Louis Vitton store [you all would be so proud of how I resisted the tempation to buy something seeing I am again a broke student!].
In fact we spent most of the time walking in the gardens, there were so many with all the flowers in bloom it was wonderful, little french kids playing, lovers eating bagettes and everything that Paris should be.
Ahh! **sigh** I think I have to move house and countries again! Anyone know someone who's looking to hire an Australian in Paris? he he.
Kisses
PS did I mention that we ate, and ate, and ate!!!

CARNEVALE

Well here in Italy like in Brazil, Spring means 'Carnevale' and to celebrate we didn't have masks or anything just a dinner with these yummy biscuites called 'Bugie' yummy yum. It's a fried sweet dough with icing sugar.

But in the spirit of dressing up for Carnevale we are having a belated Murder Mistery Dinner Party, the delay is due to the need to find 14 scripts and then translate these 14 scripts from English into Italian!
